emmons11 Great selection of tunes paying homage to their Long Island peers, whilst sounding fresh and vibrant. Some of the catchy melodies that have made someone like Glassjaw so unique, with the shoutier, noisier moments also taking cue from post-hardcore greats like Mind Over Matter.

Not many bands go for this sound, nevermind nailing it. The Rook deserve to be much bigger in the alt rock/post-hardcore world, I for one hope they get the respect they're due. Favorite track: Why Can't We Have More.

Formed on Long Island, New York in January 2019, the Rook consists of Mike Garcia (vocals), Josh Marlowe (guitar), Jay Hackett (guitar), Chad Denimarck (bass) and Kevin McGarty (drums).
